This is my 'Swarm' of bees around their hive. This is perhaps not the most inventive idea in response to an Illustration Friday topic; but it was fun to do, nonetheless! Comments are always welcomed!

Illustration Friday: Winter

Hi Everyone! This is my first post to my first blog, and the theme this week, for Illustration Friday, is 'Winter'. So here goes:

Winter is fascinating to me because of the mysterious way that figures, shapes, automobiles, and just the clouds themselves, become obscured. It is so hard to know what you are seeing, & what might have looked like a tree could turn out to be a tall person.....or a mirage! Colors are muted, so it is interesting, too, to guess what color a certain object might "really" be, when the effects of Winter have passed! Winter, the mysterious season.
